This is the general procedure for initiating a typesetting project:
- We agree on a framework timeline after I receive as much detail as possible, including stylesheet info and any special concerns.
- Once I've seen a sample file, I provide a quote based on the rate outlined in the prices section.
- Once you accept the quote, I provide a sample chapter for your approval.
- You either approve the sample as it is or suggest revisions.
- I finish the first pass for the full typeset and provide it as a PDF proof.
- You review the PDF and mark it up, indicating any revisions needed. This stage can take a few rounds.
- Once you're satisfied, I provide the final print-ready file.
